Well it's finally here; almost two years since I first put my application in and was selected to join IBM's Corporate Services Corps (CSC) Program, I am departing for Lublin, Poland tomorrow!

IBM's CSC Program is an incredible opportunity that offers a triple benefit:
- Communities have their problems solved
- IBMers receive leadership training and development
- IBM develops new markets and global leaders
I was informed of the invitation to join the CSC Poland 1 Team just before the Holidays, and since then have been meeting with the IBM team weekly for pre-work and training. I will be joining a team of 11 IBMers from 9 other countries. We will be the FIRST CSC team to perform a services project in Poland. Our larger team will be broken down into 4 smaller teams to work on four separate projects. I will be working on a Data Management Strategy project for the City of Lublin, Department of Strategy and Investor Services with my colleagues Amit, and Alex.
Okay, now about this blog; I have done my fair share of social media "experiments" participating in group discussions on LinkedIn, started a LinkedIn Group for a Project Management Institute (PMI) Local Community I chartered a few years ago, and I might have even tweeted once:). But this is my FIRST blog.
From everything I have read so far, I am certain I will barely scratch the surface of all there is to experience in Lublin, and in Poland during my short time in the country. While on this CSC journey, I will be updating my blog to capture the experiences along the way.
Please join me!
